Studio Platitude is an independent graphic design studio based in the UK, led by Mark James. With extensive experience collaborating with a diverse range of clients—from individuals and communities to independent businesses, cultural institutions, and brands—the studio specializes in crafting visual identities, typography, print design, and websites.

Mark has a background in independent curatorial practice, working on artistic and research projects which focus on typography, the image archive, artist's books, publishing, audio and graphic design.
In addition to his practice Mark is Programme Leader of BA(Hons) Graphic Design course at The University of Plymouth, UK.
